The aim of Heart Surgery Gold Coasrt is to make every
patient's visit a professional, warm, friendly and comfortable one.
When you come for your appointment please bring your
Medicare Card, Health Fund Card and your DVA Card.
lf you have any X-rays or CT Scans you will need to bring
these to your appointment together with your referral.
On your first consultation with Ben you will be greeted by either Vanessa, Kylie or Stacey. They will provide you with a form to complete containing some general information such as contact details, private health fund information and Medicare numbers.
Your first consultation will last approximately 30mins in which time the surgeon will talk with you and run through your options, particular procedures, length of stay in hospital and pre-op and post-op information.
Vanessa or Kylie will further discuss fees, outline requirement regarding your stay and provide general follow up information regarding your procedure and admission details.
Consultations are on alternative Fridays at John Flynn Hospital in Tugun or Gold Coast Private Hospital in Southport. We also visit Ballina once monthly on a Wednesday.
